Need a good high-quality reasonable cost, Plumber?
A good worker at a reasonable price for a complete Plumbing By-Pass, the work was fast, clean and at a very reasonable cost.
On July 4th at 9:15 PM a water pipe busted and it was in the ceiling above the shower and it completely destroyed the bathroom.
Stanly Steemer was called by my Ins Co, Liberty Mutual to demolish the bathroom and make it safe.
I was advised that we cannot use the bathroom for any reason until this work is done, they said they found Asbestos in the walls so the bathroom was sealed off for 17 Days.
On July 8 Stanly Steemer stopped by to access the damage and it was bad to the point it had to be taken apart, down to the wood studs in the walls and ceiling, water was running down the light and walls.
My wife called Liberty Mutual and she was advised to get a hotel to stay in because the foul Mold Odors were in the house making her sick. After 4 days with nothing done the Mold Odor was so strong it filled the whole house. Our eyes burned, my wife’s breath was getting hard to breath so we did as told to do by our agent, we got a hotel and the closest place we could find, it was 3 miles from our home.
Every day, I had to be home to open the house for the workers and could not go in the Bathroom to even see the worker and what they were doing until the demolishing was done and the room was dried and the Plastic barrier was removed. During that time there were several experts from different companies came by to check for samples of what they check for and after 17 Days the work was done.
Now we have a real Problem Liberty Mutual Ins says they will not pay for the Plumbing to be repaired because of wear and tear, the Old Galvanized pipes busted and it was not wear and tear it was a rusted out hole that started from the outside that caused the damage and Liberty refuses to honor our warranty. I was told to did the ground up so an agent from Liberty Mutual came by to inspect it for Plumbing repairs. After they had me dig the ground for 4 hours to prove the Pipe was in the Foundation. A By-Pass was the cheapest and best way to solve this Galvanized Plumbing Problem we have. But my agent after proving what they wanted to know, I was refused help.
My agent told us to get three estimated for the work of the Plumbing and I did, it was from $11,000 to $39,000 if the work was to be done the way Liberty Mutual again wanted it done (bust the concrete to replace the Pipe that broke) but my agent heard the cost, he flip flopped and said your plumbing is not covered. He actually sent me a contract that said No Steam Pipe Breaks or Frozen Plumbing is covered, he sent me a contract that applies to the East where they have steam filled pipes and frozen pipes. I think he actually committed Fraud and I will report this to the Insurance Commissioner as well.
So, I contacted a friend for some help knowing he had just done his plumbing, he gave me a man named Mauricio and he was kind enough to stop by and give me an estimate.
After he walked around the house, Mauricio he recommended a Plumbing By-Pass, he said it will be much cheaper than fixing the one Galvanized pipe for the A Dee Do Contractor wanted at $39,000 and what the Liberty Mutual Ins adjuster wanted because it went through the Foundation. The parts and the labor was far cheaper than replacing the one busted Galvanized Pipe in the concrete. I paid for the Plumbing By-Pass and was allowed to help do some of the hard labor work which saved me a lot of money, in fact the complete Job with my labors saving me several thousand dollars and only cost me $9,400 for the complete Plumbing By-Pass in Copper pipes.

Folks, I let this man do my plumbing and I trust him, he also does work for the some of the Schools in the San Fernando Valley, he is really good and honest.
But that is not it, I had to have the bathroom remodeled and yes, Mauricio was able to have a crew of his men rebuild the bathroom as well and the cost was just under $10,000 while others remodeling companies wanted $13,000 for a cheap job and as much as $18.000 for a half ass job using particle board, the vanity they wanted to use was just under $300 and I said no way. Mauricio did everything to make it ready for the new vanity we purchased with a Marbel Top for under $1,500 and it has 6 drawers 3 on each side and one in the middle.
I recommend Mauricio who I believe is a really good man to work with and honest, his prices were reasonable, so if you need a good plumber give him a chance to talk to you about how he can help you.
